Client Transferred €8,600 After Sex Worker Invented Heart Surgery Story

A court in Graz convicted a 27-year-old sex worker of fraud after she obtained thousands of euros from a client who believed he was helping her through a serious family emergency. The man transferred approximately €8,600 after being told about financial problems and an alleged heart operation needed by the woman’s mother.

The man and the woman had originally met at a brothel in southern Styria. What began as a professional relationship later developed into much closer contact, including daily messages, video calls and personal meetings.

Client Sent Thousands of Euros Over Several Months

According to the court proceedings, the woman repeatedly asked the man for financial assistance. She reportedly told him about a seriously ill mother, unpaid bills, rent problems and other financial difficulties.

Over several months, the man transferred approximately €8,600 to her. He said he believed the money was needed to deal with urgent family expenses and understood the payments to be loans that would eventually be repaid.

Story About Mother’s Heart Surgery Was False

One of the most serious reasons given for needing the money involved the woman’s mother. The client was reportedly told that she needed a heart operation and believed that his financial assistance would help cover the costs.

However, the alleged heart operation became a central issue when the case reached court. The judge concluded that the story about the medical emergency had been invented and that it had been used to persuade the man to provide money.

Around €4,500 Was Reportedly Used for Breast Augmentation

According to the prosecution, approximately €4,500 of the money was instead used for a breast augmentation. This was substantially different from the urgent family and medical expenses that the client believed he was helping to finance.

The judge found that the false story about the mother’s heart operation was sufficient to establish fraud. The case therefore focused not simply on how the money was ultimately spent, but on the circumstances under which the client had been persuaded to provide it.

Sex Worker Said She Had Worked Off the Money

The woman did not deny receiving money from the client. However, she presented a very different interpretation of the financial arrangement between them.

She argued that she had effectively worked off the money by providing services exclusively to the man. According to her account, she maintained daily contact and provided photos, videos, conversations and other services as part of their relationship.

The client strongly rejected this explanation. He maintained that the €8,600 had been provided as loans and that he expected the money to be returned.

Judge Said Client Was Possibly in Love and Naive

During the judgment, the judge reportedly described the man as possibly being somewhat in love with the woman and also naive. However, his willingness to trust her did not change the court’s assessment of the false medical emergency.

The court concluded that an invented situation had deliberately been used to obtain money from him. The 27-year-old woman was consequently convicted of fraud.

Six-Month Suspended Prison Sentence

The woman received a six-month suspended prison sentence and was ordered to repay the full €8,600. The judgment is legally binding.

Despite everything that happened, the client reportedly told the court that he was not angry with the woman. He had even attempted to withdraw his complaint, bringing an unusual end to a case that began with a professional encounter in a brothel and developed into a relationship involving personal attachment, thousands of euros and an invented medical emergency.
